We teach only using the English language rather than Sanskrit in our yoga classes, unless otherwise specified in a workshop or specific class such as an ashtanga training. This is because while we are knowledgeable in, and value the traditional roots of yoga, we appreciate that some of the words and concepts can feel uncomfortable and foreign especially for first time yogis. We understand there is also the possibility of concern regarding conflict with spiritual beliefs. For these reasons we keep it simple, really laid back, and down to earth, so our classes consist of just the right balance of gentle movements, introspection and relaxation, leaving room for you to explore your own ideas regarding spirituality (if you so choose) based on your own beliefs and experiences. That said, spiritual practice such as non-denominational Christian bible study, and Yoga Faith (Christian yoga classes) are offered from time to time for those who seek this type of exploration.

Hours vary. Clients with appointments for services may have an opportunity to shop while in the center.
During your visit you may have the opportunity to peruse our apothecary of herbs, herbal teas, and essential oils, or our gift shop of jewelry, paintings, soaps, candles, eye pillows, hot/cold packs and other treasures intended to promote overall health and wellbeing. You may borrow a book from our lending library, and simultaneously have the chance to support our local artists and artisans because the majority of the items available are sourced from other local small businesses!
Our knowledgeable staff is able to make recommendations as well as create healing protocols, blends and rituals customized specifically to your needs and desires.
